My ad zone is setup to display four ads, but only one "Advertise Here" box is appearing.

There are settings in your "Ad Code" page for each zone called "Show Ad Here" and "Repeat Ad Here". If checked, these settings will show the "Advertise Here" banner where an ad has not been sold yet and repeat the "Advertise Here" banner for all unsold ads. So if you have an ad zone with 4 available slots and 1 is sold, it will show the ad for the 1 that was sold and "Advertise Here" banners for the other 3 unsold ads in that zone.

If "Repeat Ad Here" is left UNCHECKED, then the "Advertise Here" banner will only appear for 1 spot and not all open spots in that zone.
